As anyone who has been following my photo's can see, I have made a change in the past few weeks to mostly cemetary scenes, monuments, etc. along with the trees in full fall foliage. I would just like to make a bit of explanation as to the change in venue, and it is not because Halloween is just around the corner. At this time of year, floral photo's are becoming extremely rare, and while there are fall flowers, they number in far fewer quantities than the spring and summer ones. And since I have that photography itch, I had to broaden my areas of interest to other subject matter, while still trying to keep with my outdoor themes....thus the graves and such that I have been photographing lately. I just want everyone to be aware that I have a toal respect for the dead, and feel that by taking these photo's and sharing them with you, I am in a small way giving them a little bit of immorality, as they will once again be looked upon with love and admiration, as I have done. So, I hope you will not think me morbid by taking these photo's, but rather, a chronicaler of historical sites.....I think that I myself would be flattered to be remembered in such a way after I am gone....so I hope that I have not offened anyone with these photos, and that they will bring you some sense of comfort and calm with their beauty.
